This aim of this gallery is to show railway photographs taken of the British Railway scene during in the British Rail era (photos will commence from around 1980) and continuing until the present day.
The collections are arranged in year order. Currently most photographs are digital (2003 onwards), but slowly older colour prints or slides are being scanned and added to the collection, Rail Scene - 1985 being the first of these.
There is an accompaning gallery showing the Preservation scene, see 'Other Galleries' on the right hand side.
